2015 Hyundai Veloster: Because Different is Cool

The Hyundai Veloster has turned heads due to its futuristic exterior design.

If you want something unique, different, and a little bit off the beaten path of “normal,” then you’ll want to look no further than the 2015 Hyundai Veloster. With its unique exterior design and three-door design for easier access to the back seat, the Veloster has plenty to offer in both the styling and practicality departments.

The 2015 Hyundai Veloster is Different, and well Worth it

Since its debut, the Hyundai Veloster has turned heads due to its futuristic exterior design. From nose to tail, the Veloster has a look unlike any other vehicle on the road. Up front, the 2015 Veloster has a original design with a gaping front grille, fluid bumpers, and aggressively shaped headlights. However, it’s the rump that really steals the show here.

Accentuated rear haunches seem to pop the rear up, as if the Veloster is sprung and ready to explode at any moment. Recessed rear taillights give the 2015 Hyundai Veloster some serious attitude, and the centre-mounted tailpipes allude to the car’s sporty, dynamic nature on the road.

And that third door? Well, it’s nicely hidden on the passenger side and you would not know it was there because the handle is hidden nicely in the rear window-frame. Perfect for keeping the lines and shape of the car perfectly matched, while also offering an added bit of practicality.

Under the uniquely sculpted hood sits a 1.6L GDI 4-cylinder engine that produces 138 horsepower and 123 lb-ft of torque, and power is sent to the front wheels at all times. You’ll also get a choice between a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed EcoShift dual clutch automatic. There is also a Turbo version, which offers significantly more torque and power.

The Practicality Behind the Originality

In terms of fuel economy, the Hyundai Veloster is most definitely a frugal gas guzzler with a combined rating of 8.0L/100km with the manual and 7.7L/100km with the automatic.

Surprisingly perhaps, the 2015 Hyundai Veloster has a great deal of interior space. Thanks to the higher roofline in the rear, the backseat is a great place to be. Also, the hatchback trunk ensures there’s plenty of cargo space with 440 litres total.

Overall, the 2015 Hyundai Veloster truly offers something different on the road. From its look to its colour choices (Sunflower Yellow, Vitamin C, Boston Red, and even Ironman Silver) to its fun-to-drive nature, the Veloster is a fabulous city dweller that’s sure to impress.
